I'm starting the trilogy over again and I realized that I never tried out the Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station DLC for Mass Effect.
I then noticed on the wiki that you can get BDoS for free on PC. Unfortunately the code they provided had already reached the max uses, and the page said to go to the EA help site.
The EA help site then routed me back to same page I started with.If I'm going to get this i'm probably gonna have to jump through a bunch of stupid hoops, as I can't even buy the stupid thing for the PC. Am I going to miss out if I give this DLC a miss?. Since I'm not sure how much you know about it, I'll keep this as spoiler free as I can.Pros:.The outcome of Bring Down the Sky potentially sets up a brief 'reunion' in ME3 with someone you meet during the mission. For me, playing paragon, it was nice to finally resolve that story arc the way I did.Depending on how you choose to end the mission, there are some pretty sweet equipment rewards. I chose a set of armor for Tali because I'd already outfitted everyone else pretty well by then, and quarian armor is damned hard to find. It's a pretty nice set, too, and it looks flippin' sweet. You get to go commando on some Batarian mu' fuckas who totally deserve it.Cons:.There's a fair amount of driving over some steep mountains in the Mako at the beginning which, if you're anything like me, has gotten pretty old by now. There's also a tricky spot with some landmines and snipers that can be pretty annoying on higher difficulties. So, it's up to you, of course. I say go for it, because it's new ME material for you, and I'm always looking for that.
